FROM LACE TO RUFFLE: NARA SMITH REVEALS THE BABY NAMES SHE ALMOST CHOSE FOR HER FOURTH CHILD

Nara Smith had quite the list of baby names to choose from before deciding on her newborn’s daughter’s charming name.

The model and mom of four recently shared a TikTok where she listed the unique names she and her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, considered before choosing the whimsical name Fawnie Golden for their newest addition.

Nara and Lucky welcomed baby Fawnie on September 27, joining her siblings that includes son Slim Easy, 3, and daughters Rumble Honey, 4, and Whimsy Lou, 18 months.

“Here’s some baby names I love, but didn’t use this time around,” Nara said in the video. “For reference, our kids have pretty unique names. We have Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, Whimsy Lou, and now Fawnie Golden. Since this is my last baby, this is also the last video of this sort I’ll do. Let’s get started, shall we?”

Her shortlist for boy names included some creative picks. “I loved the name Denim Dice, which would also be really cute twin boy names,” she shared. “Silver, Gray, Walker, and obviously Lucky, but that’s my husband’s name, so I might be a little biased.”

When it came to girl names, the list grew even longer. “I love the name Lace, Ruffle, Flora, Jo, [and] Wonder,” she shared. “I love the name Dainty, Penny, Meadow. Ribbon is really cute, and I love a good Dr. Seuss book, so I also really like the name Sola.”

Nara went on to share a few more favorites, including Whisper and Lilac. She even took inspiration from her travels. “I just recently visited Bunny Mellon’s estate, so that definitely was on our list for a very long time. I love the name Bunny as a first name and then Mellon as the second name,” she added.

“I also love Prim, which feels a little more classic and poppy,” she continued. “I hope this helps anyone looking for a little bit of inspiration because finding a baby name was really hard for us this time.”
