Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington has been ordered to pay $5,500 a month in child support to influencer Brittany Renner, the mother of his son, Paul Jermaine Washington III.
According to records obtained by TMZ, Washington was also required to pay a $130,000 lump sum to cover previously owed support as well as Renner’s attorney fees.
While the agreement was filed in North Carolina, Renner recently submitted paperwork in Los Angeles County to ensure the arrangement could be enforced in California. Her filing confirmed Washington owes no back payments, suggesting he has remained current with his obligations.
For years, fans speculated about the size of Washington’s support payments, with some claiming he paid as much as $200,000 per month. Renner previously addressed the speculation in an interview, explaining that she received “$2,500 a month.”
Washington and Renner first got together in 2019 after she was spotted courtside at one of his Kentucky games. Since their split, things have been tense. Earlier this month, Washington, Renner, and his wife were were involved in a heated exchange during a custody hand-off.

Outside the courtroom, Washington has been focused on family. He and his wife, Alisah Chanel, welcomed their second child together, Paxton Jayce Washington, earlier this year.
“The start of 2025 feeling so blessed. Thank You God. PJW,” the couple captioned a series of photos from the hospital announcing Paxton’s arrival.
Paxton joined older brother Preston Julian, who turned two in December. Chanel is also mom to her son Aiden Licastro from a previous relationship.
Washington recently secured a four-year, $90 million contract extension with the Mavericks. The deal cements his future on the court while he balances life as a father of four.
