John Legend’s 2-year-old daughter, Esti, proved she is his biggest fan as she clapped and cheered for her dad during his performance at the Grace for the World concert.
On Sunday, Sept. 14, the singer, 46, posted a home video on Instagram capturing his daughter Esti watching him perform on TV. The little one was glued to the screen as Legend sang “Glory” during his performance.
After clapping, Esti exclaimed, “That’s my Daddy, I love my daddy,” before jumping on the couch and repeating, “I love my daddy, I love my daddy.”
Chrissy Teigen could be heard in the background cheering the kids on. “Get it, Wren, get it, Miles, go John!” she encouraged as the couple’s other children clapped and nodded along. Legend captioned the clip simply: “Esti loves her daddy.”
The sweet family moment comes just weeks after Teigen shared photos of the couple’s four children — Luna Simone, 9, Miles, 7, and Esti Maxine,2, and Wren Alexander,2, — on their first day back at school.
She captioned the photos, “First day of school YESSSSSS bless you teachers, bless you all.”
In August 2023, Chrissy Teigen spoke with People Magazine about the challenges of balancing life with four kids.
“For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies. There’s a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies and they’re not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved.”
In case you missed it, the Grace of the World concert is now streaming on Disney+.
