Machine Gun Kelly had his biggest supporter by his side at the 12th Fashion Media Awards in New York City on September 12, 2025.
The rapper was honored with the Style Icon award and brought his 16-year-old daughter, Casie, as his date to the star-studded ceremony at Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room.
On the red carpet, the Lost Americana musician admitted he brought his daughter along to calm his nerves.
“I’m pretty nervous,” MGK told PEOPLE. “That’s why I called in my backup over here.”
Casie, whom MGK shares with ex Emma Cannon, was happy to accompany her dad to the event.
“I’m always a big support system for him, so it’s nice,” she said, though she admitted she’s still not fully used to red carpets. “It’s stressful.”
Following the event, MGK reflected on the honor in an Instagram post.
“Honored with the ‘style icon’ award last night with my daughter, pete, and a jacket from SEARS that’s older than the internet @dailyfrontrow thank you for the honor.”
Away from the spotlight, MGK has been creating unforgettable memories with his daughter. During this year’s MGK Day in Cleveland, held on August 10, the rapper surprised her with her dream car, a black Acura TLX. The gift came only a few weeks after she marked her 16th birthday in July.
In a viral video of the big reveal, Casie’s jaw dropped as the car, topped with a giant red bow, rolled up.
After hugging her dad, she joked about the No. 1 rule: “Don’t drive like your dad.”
MGK laughed and agreed, “Exactly — don’t drive like me.”
In addition to Casie, MGK is also dad to baby daughter Saga Blade, whom he welcomed with ex Megan Fox in March.
