Chrissy Teigen is explaining why 22-month-old son, Wren, is wearing a “little boot” on his foot.
The former Sports Illustrated model shared a carousel of videos and images with the first being an adorable video of Wren playing in the yard with a black “little boot” on his foot. The mother-of-four didn’t immediately explain what happened to her son as she casually captioned the post, “Ima chicken butt!”
Teigen immediately addressed the “little boot” in the comments section, after an out pouring of concern, saying, “wren is a-ok, just a little boot because he is is having trouble putting all his weight on this leg! Not a terrible break thank the lord! They heal so fast right now.”

The 39-year-old Cravings cookbook author shares four children with EGOT-winner, husband, John Legend. In addition to Wren, the couple are also parents to Luna, 9, Miles, 6, and Esti, 2.
Back in mid-April, the Stephens household celebrated Luna’s 9th birthday. Teigen and Legend both took to social media to celebrate her eldest with a sweet messages and mixtures of throwback and current images.
Teigen captioned her post, “the best thing I’ve ever made. Luna tuna is NINE today. I can’t say anymore, I’ll cry ok bye!!”
Legend shared, “Our firstborn baby is old enough to bake and decorate her own cake now. Happy 9th birthday to our sweet Luna!”
Teigen has been very open and candid about her parenting journey, even revealing the one thing that she is afraid that she will pass on to her children: the feeling that one is responsible for other people’s emotions/feelings and what other people think.
“Sometimes it feels very isolating to feel this way, and the fact that other people feel imprisoned by this too, that helps a lot, because one of the worst parts about it is me feeling crazy or feeling that nobody else will understand this feeling. ‘Why am I like this?’ I’m really scared of passing this along to my kids.” Teigen stated in a previous episode of her podcast, Self-Conscious With Chrissy Teigen. “I think that is the big realization for me, is, I can’t do this to my kids. I don’t ever want them to feel like they have to perform for everybody and be good all the time, but I know that sometimes I probably am that way.”
Later in the episode Teigen concludes saying, “I cannot imagine this for my kids, I hope that they don’t want to please everybody in life, and I hope that they know that their body is their own, their mind is their own, their actions are their own, and they can’t control other people. I cannot have them live this way that I live.”
From where we are sitting, it appears as if the Teigen and Legend have this parenting thing down to a science, even when it comes to even making those “little boot” moments seem not so bad.
