Jeannie Mai made sure her daughter, Monaco Mai Jenkins, felt celebrated in a big way on her 3rd birthday —even if the party came a little later than planned.
The TV personality hosted a belated bash for Monaco that was packed with fun and surprises, including a special appearance by her favorite Paw Patrol character, Rubble.
The outdoor celebration had everything a toddler could dream of: face painting, a bouncy house (which Monaco loved), and plenty of smiles. Jeannie took to Instagram to share highlights from the event, along with a message explaining why the festivities were delayed.
“The beginning of January was not at all what I had imagined,” Mai began. “The devastating fires in LA completely shaped our start to 2025, and while Monaco and I spent those first days packing our essentials and preparing for evacuation, our hearts turned toward helping others.”
Jeannie went on to describe how she and Monaco spent those challenging early days of the year supporting their community, gathering donations for families affected by the fires in Altadena.
But amid the chaos, “Monaco’s third birthday quietly came and went, and though our focus was on supporting others, I couldn’t let this major milestone pass by without celebrating my little girl,” she continued. “So, this weekend—yup, three weeks later—we finally paused to give my lil Monaco the birthday celebration she truly deserved.”
Monaco’s reaction to Rubble said it all. “This was her first birthday party since we’ve moved back to LA! Watching her face light up when Rubble from Paw Patrol showed up was priceless—he’s her fave.”
While the year may have started with unexpected challenges, Jeannie reminded her followers of the importance of celebrating life’s precious moments. “Even in the midst of life’s challenges, it’s never too late to celebrate the moments that matter most,” she added.
