Tristan Wilds made it a family affair at the Atlanta screening of his new holiday movie, The Day Before Christmas, held on November 21, 2024 at Regal Atlantic Station.
The actor, best known for his roles in The Wire and 90210, was joined at the event by his wife, Christina Hammond, and their two daughters, Tristyn and Naima.
Before heading inside to watch the film, the Wilds family posed for photos on the red carpet, with little Naima peacefully sleeping in her stroller.
The Day Before Christmas, premiering on November 28, promises to deliver all the heart and humor of the season.
Starring Wilds and actress Candace Maxwell, The Day Before Christmas follows Rashaad and Nia, two single parents navigating a chaotic Christmas Eve after a mix-up leads to swapped phones—and swapped kids’ backpacks.
But amid the madness, Rashaad and Nia find a connection that sparks a romance neither saw coming.
The film also stars Finn Maloney, Ava Marie, Heiress Harris, and Ace Tucker, to name a few.
In a recent interview with Atlanta News First, Wilds shared why this project resonates with him as a father.
He said, “I think it’s one that, especially now, me being a dad to two little girls, it feels good that I actually have something I can turn on without having to edit certain parts out. “Don’t watch that part,” you know?”
In related news, The Wilds recently marked their youngest daughter Naima’s second birthday.
Tristan shared a sweet tribute on Instagram, writing, “NewNew turns 2! To know Naima is to know she’s the boss lady of the house. We thank God for our baby girl and for the continued blessings over her ordered steps.”
He continued, “Thank you for all the messages wishing her a happy birthday.”
