King Harris, the son of T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris, is a new dad!
The rapper and his girlfriend, J’Nijah “Nana” Epps, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named King Jr.
Sharing the big news with his fans, King posted a message on Instagram, along with a new song he wrote for his son, titled “Dear Son.”
In his announcement, he wrote, “Nov 5 8:09am welcome King Jr. TIME TO TAKEOVER.”
In “Dear Son”, King promises to become a better person for his baby boy. “Now I got a son, gotta cool down on that hot [stuff],” he raps
The track also includes lyrics about the values he hopes to instill in his son, teaching him to “protect the women and your family” and to honor the name “on the family tree”.
The Harris family were quick to celebrate the new arrival. King’s older sister, Zonnique, chimed in with a comment under his post, writing, “Aww man I love that kid so much! let me come scoop my nephew from the hospital get him ready.”
King’s mother, Tiny, proudly reposted her son’s song on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I got myself a grandson. You did it, Nana. Congratulations to you and King. My big new parents.”
The happy news comes just months after T.I. revealed during an interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 that King was expecting his first child.
He shared, “Yeah, I got two granddaughters, and I got a grandson on the way.”
T.I. then joked about raising his new grandson “to torture [King] the way that [he] tortured me.”
T.I. and wife Tiny have a blended family that includes seven children: Zonnique, 28, Messiah, 24, Domani, 23, Deyjah, 23, King, 20, Major, 16, and Heiress, 8. With King Jr.’s arrival, The proud grandpa now has three grandchildren, including Zonnique’s daughter and Domani’s baby girl.
