Olympic gymnast Simone Biles is unquestionably a role model for little girls all over the world. A few weeks ago, Chance the Rapper’s daughter’s had the opportunity to meet the athletic legend and now, it is Serena Williams’ daughter’s turn. In a recent heartwarming moment, Serena Williams’ daughter, Olympia, met Simone Biles.
The seven-year-old and her parents went to see the “Gold Over America” Tour and Olympia not only got the opportunity to meet Biles, but she also met Jordan Chiles, among others.
And as you would expect, her father took pictures of the special moment, sharing them on social media.
Alexis Ohanian Sr. began the caption of a carousel of images, “I had to take S & Jr to see @simonebiles’ Gold Over America Tour. Packed house. Awesome night. Don’t miss it if they’re coming to your town.”
He continued, “And thank you Simone and @jordanchiles for absolutely making Olympia’s MONTH I bought all the merch I could and even tried making this morning’s pancake look like Olympia in one of her new leotards – sorry babygirl, photorealism is hard and the batter was too runny today.”
In addition to Olympia, the tennis phenom and her husband also share seven-month-old, daughter Adira River Ohanian.
The Reddit co-founder shared with People Magazine in May that he’s excited to see his younger daughter start hit “big girl” milestones because it is “fun because she’s getting more mobile.”
“She’s able to have a lot more fun with her sister in terms of playing. You can already see the interactions between them. It’s a big age gap, and Olympia has a little bit of that maternal spirit. She’s like, ‘This is my baby,’ and it’s great to see them together,” Ohanian shared with the outlet.
He continued, “They play and sort wrestle and all that. We’re very lucky because Adira’s got a great personality and Olympia does too, plus she’s so excited to be a big sis. So seeing the two of them interact with each other has been a special kind of fun. Adira’s getting more mobile and more vocal, and it’s only going to get even more fun.”
“I guess at some point they’re going to fight over things, but for now, let me live in bliss.”
We are so glad to see Simone Biles bringing smiles to all of the adorable young girls that look up to her. Because of their interaction, who knows, we may just see Olympia one day going for the gold!
