Halle Bailey and DDG have split. The pair, who have been together for a few years, are now focused on raising their son, Halo, as co-parents.
In a statement shared by DDG on Instagram Story, he expressed the deep emotions behind their decision to part ways.
He began, “Dear friends and supporters, After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways. This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we’ve spent together and the love we’ve shared.”
He continued, “Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other. As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we’ve shared. As we navigate this transition, we ask for your understanding and support.”
“Thank you for your love and encouragement,” he concluded.
Halle and DDG welcomed their baby boy, Halo, in December 2023, and introduced him to the world in early January.
Posting a photo of his tiny hand, Halle shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo.
“The world is desperate to know you,” she added.
Bailey and DDG chose to keep Halo’s face private for several months, but on July 3, they revealed the first photo of their adorable baby during a family vacation to Italy.
The former couple posted sweet photos from their trip, with DDG playfully asking, “La familia ♥️ who Halo look like more?” and Halle captioning a shot with “Halo’s first time in Italy.”
