DIDDY’S TWIN DAUGHTERS BEING CARED FOR BY FRIEND OF THE LATE KIM PORTER

As music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs faces serious legal challenges in New York, his twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, are leaning on a strong support system.

The 17-year-old twins, who are currently living in Los Angeles, are under the care of Lawanda “Lala” Lane, a close family and lifelong friend of their late mother, Kim Porter, who tragically passed away in 2018.

Although Lala does not hold official legal guardianship, she has stepped into a pivotal role in the twins’ lives, providing them with stability during this turbulent time. Now in their final year of high school, D’Lila and Jessie are being supported in maintaining their daily routines and focusing on their education.

Lala’s role goes beyond just caregiving—she has become a mother figure for the girls, ensuring they remain shielded from the intense media scrutiny surrounding their father’s high-profile case.

Her presence offers a nurturing and protective environment, giving D’Lila and Jessie a sense of normalcy as their father faces the possibility of a long legal battle ahead.

Meanwhile, Diddy’s older sons—Quincy, Justin, and Christian—were present in the courtroom during their father’s recent arraignment hearing in Manhattan on Tuesday.

Diddy, who was arrested on September 16th, has pled not guilty to federal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, which carry the potential for a life sentence. Despite offering a $50 million bail package, his request for bail was denied, leaving him in custody as he awaits trial.

Although D’Lila and Jessie were not present at the courthouse, sources close to the family say the twins remain hopeful for their father’s release.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has seven children who range in age from 1 to 33: sons Quincy, Justin, Christian, and daughters Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and his youngest, Love.
