Christina Milian is celebrating a milestone today as her daughter, Violet Madison, turns 14! Taking to Instagram, the proud mom shared a touching message alongside a sweet snapshots of the birthday girl.
“My first born is growing up! Happy birthday to my favorite girl @violetmadison. You will always be my baby and forever hold a special place in my heart. I hope you know understand how loved you are thru my actions and live each day knowing that I will always be there for you. Violet you are cray cray, a fun and loving sister and my my best born friend. Happy birthday my sweet! Love you Mom!”
Milian welcomed her oldest and only daughter, Violet Madison Nash, on Feb. 26, 2010, with her ex-husband, The-Dream (real name Terius Nash). Reflecting on motherhood, she once shared on her reality TV series, “Christina Milian Turned Up,” how Violet’s birth transformed her perspective. “The second that she was born, it was, like, instantly I became a child again,” she revealed. “It’s like I see the world with new eyes: Not only is this my life to live, this is for my daughter,” she added.
While many know Christina Milian for her music and acting career, her most cherished role is undoubtedly being a mom. Alongside Violet, Milian shares her two youngest kids, sons Isaiah and Kenna, with her partner, French singer Matt Pokora.
In a heartfelt post back in 2022, Christina couldn’t help but express her gratitude for the blessing of motherhood.
She wrote, “Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I can’t believe it’s real. I’m really a mother of 3! (That happened fast, lol) It really is such a blessing. Watching our little people grow motivates me everyday— sometime to the point I’m overwhelmed as I wanna get so much done at once for them and for me. But I always remind myself that what I’m doing IS enough and God doesn’t give you more than you can handle.”
