Over the weekend, Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie,14, showcased their golf skills at the PNC Championship held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. Team Woods concluded the tournament tied for fifth place, with Team Langer securing the victory.

Although the Woods pair didn’t clinch the PNC Championship, they delivered a strong performance, finishing at -19 with an impressive 11-under 61 in the final round. Noteworthy moments included Charlie’s viral birdie chip on the ninth hole, where he celebrated with a triumphant fist pump, echoing his father’s iconic gestures.

The family dynamic was evident as Tiger’s daughter, Sam,16, participated as a caddie during the event. Despite being part of the golf atmosphere, Sam’s primary passion lies in soccer, not golf, according to Tiger Woods.
“She does her own thing, which is soccer,” Tiger Woods told Nick Piasttowski of Golf.com on Saturday. “She’s committed to that. As far as golf, no, she really doesn’t. She’ll hang out in the backyard with us every now and again to have fun, but nothing competitive or serious.”
Last month, Charlie secured a victory at the Florida High School Athletic Association Class A state championship with The Benjamin School Buccaneers. The freshman, fondly nicknamed “C-Dub,” contributed significantly with scores of 78 and 76, leading the team to their fourth state championship trophy.

The high school state title adds a distinctive accolade to Charlie’s budding golf career, one that even his accomplished father, a 15-time major champion, did not attain.
Charlie expressed his satisfaction at the PNC Championship, stating,”Having a win over him and having something he doesn’t, it feels pretty good.”
