Ne-Yo’s ex-girlfriend, Sade Bagnerise, is requesting primary custody of their two kids along with child support to help with the financial responsibilities of parenthood. The influencer filed documents with the courts earlier this month.
According to RadarOnline,
“Sade demanded primary physical custody of the 2 kids but agreed to share joint legal custody, which would allow Ne-Yo to have a say on important matters in their children’s lives.”
The public learned of Ne-Yo’s relationship with Sade months after the producer’s ex-wife, Crystal Renay, filed for marriage dissolution. Crystal deemed the union “irretrievably broken with no hope for reconciliation” while also insinuating her then-estranged husband had an affair.
“Eight years of lies and deception. Eight years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected … every last one of them,” Crystal told her social media fans last July.
“To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is an understatement,” she added. “To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist.”
Ne-Yo did not confirm his relationship with Sade or that he fathered a child with the influencer. News of the then-couple’s son, Braiden, was revealed weeks before Ne-Yo and Sade welcomed their second child, Brixton, in February.
Sade doted on her son while discussing the “delicate circumstances” of her second expectancy with Ne-Yo. “The JOY Braiden gives me every day strengthened me and let me know I can do this gracefully … with love, compassion, and penitence,” Sade shared.
“Ready for this journey,” Ne-Yo’s ex-girlfriend said of her life as the mother of two kids. “Ready for the lessons and the blessings,” she added. “I can’t wait to meet you my buttercup.”
Ne-Yo has requested paternity tests for both Brixton and Braiden to ensure he is indeed the father of Sade’s kids. The producer has also petitioned his son’s last name be changed to Smith. Sade responded to Ne-Yo’s request for paternity by ensuring the press her ex-boyfriend was indeed the father of her children.
