Aventer Gray is requesting prayers for her and John Gray’s kids, Theory and John IV, after giving fans an update about her husband’s condition. The pastor’s wife took to Instagram on Monday (Jul. 11) to thank her supporters and to also share the sweet message her kids shared.
Aventer uploaded a video clip in which John IV and Theory were watching throwback footage of their father making silly faces. “I’m literally looking through my iPad,” Theory said while showing her mom the funny clip. “I miss daddy,” John IV said. The youngster’s sister agreed before telling her mom to “show daddy” the clip.
“TuTu sent me this from grandma’s house early this morning,” Aventer told her social media fans. “He will be home, sending you videos, laughing, making all the dumb faces for you soon,” the pastor’s wife assured their kids.
It was this past weekend that Aventer Gray took to Instagram to petition prayers for her husband who suffered from a pulmonary embolism that turned out to be life-threatening. “He is currently in CCU and based on CT and Echo we will need two types of surgery due to the pressure now on the heart within the next 24 hours,” Aventer told her supporters on Friday (Jul. 9). “To place this in perspective, the doctor said that people have come into the hospital dead with this exact scenario he walked in with,” she added.
Aventer gave fans an update on her husband’s condition on Monday evening. “If it is not faith, I don’t want it,” the pastor’s wife declared. “God is not done,” she continued. “No premature death,” Aventer said. Mrs. Gray went on to tell her supporters that the leg clot her husband previously dealt with had dissolved. “Remaining lung clots dissipate and bow at the name of Jesus,” Aventer exclaimed.
“I am ready for the rest of this miracle,” Gray continued. “We had a small God-ordained divine delay, but God is good,” Aventer said. “Trusting God again as we transfer to a hospital in Atlanta for the best care to figure out the rest of this saddle. Thank you for your prayers and outpouring of love,” Aventer wrote to her fans. “Please continue!”
