Selling Tampa star Sharelle Rosado and Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson have welcomed their baby girl!
Chad shared the happy news on his Instagram page moments ago. He wrote under a photo of him cutting his daughter’s umbilical cord, “Just delivered Serenity “Hurricane” Paula Johnson.”
Earlier this month, Ochocinco jokingly said that he would be delivering his daughter. “OBGYN-OCHO giving @sharellerosado_ an ultrasound, will also be delivering Baby Serenity myself which I will do live via Instagram in 3 weeks to save money cause them hospital bills ain’t it. Anyone that has concerns just know I’ve watched countless hours of YouTube tutorials on how to properly deliver a child. Thank you. “
In November, Sharelle revealed her daughter’s name while showing off her baby bump in some maternity photos. “A mother’s love for her children is like nothing else in this world. You’re already my everything. Serenity Paula Johnson is almost here.”
Sharelle learned of her expectancy while on the set of her new show, Selling Tampa, which follows her company Allure Realty, an all-Black, all-female real estate firm in Florida.
“It was shocking. I think I was crying and laughing at the same time,” she says. “I just can’t wait. It’s actually going by so fast. I found out I was pregnant while we were filming, so time is flying. It doesn’t even seem like it’s been that long.”
While her pregnancy flew by fast, Rosado did admit that filming while pregnant wasn’t so easy.
“It’s a little hard because while we were filming, there were times when the ladies were enjoying themselves, having fun, drinking. In the blink of an eye, you just had to cut off everything because now you’re pregnant,” she shared with People. “I still feel like I’m the life of the party. But it’s just nice to give a toast with champagne. Can’t do any of that.”
Serenity is Johnson’s eighth child and Rosado’s fourth. “I always wanted a big family,” she says, “so I think with this last one, she’s just the perfect number to finish it off.”
