Damon Dash had an eventful Father’s Day this past Sunday (June 20). The producer and his fiancee, Raquel Horn, spent quality time at home with their son, Dusko.
“Happy Father’s Day @duskopoppington,” Raquel wrote to her husband-to-be on Monday (June 21). “I have spent so many Father’s Days day with you over the past years, but I am overwhelmed to spent this Father’s Day with you and @babydusko,” Horn shared.
“To an amazing, strong, handsome, charming, hilarious, and extremely motivating man … I am screaming HAPPY FATHER’S DAY,” Raquel wrote to Damon. “I love you so much. You are an amazing DA DA, and @babydusko couldn’t have given you a better present by saying ‘DA DA’ to you yesterday.”
Damon Dash continues to rely on his family’s support while sorting out his business affairs. The producer allegedly attempted to sell Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt album as an NFT under the Roc-a-Fella brand, which led to a lawsuit from the record label. Dash revealed in his legal response that he was trying to sell his entire stake in Roc-a-Fella and not just Jay-Z’s album. Damon, therefore, concluded that he did nothing wrong.
Damon Dash recently relaunched his app, Damon Dash Studios, which saw much success due to the pandemic, according to the entrepreneur. “For my business model, the pandemic was perfect for it,” Dash shared during a recent interview with REVOLT. “Not to say I’m insensitive to the rest of the world, but my business model was always residual income, get money by the pole, also having content that people can get from their house, their phone, their computer, and their television,” Damon explained.
“The pandemic sped up my business model because my ultimate vision and my goal was to be able to have people view content and buy stuff while they’re watching it,” Dash told REVOLT. “All the clothes, the liquor, the music, the weed — all the stuff you want — they’ll be able to buy it. A bunch of diabetes equipment, accessories I’m using, or the apparatuses, you can buy that too. If you want to buy the food I’m eating, because I eat healthy, you can buy that too.”
