Meghan Markle and Prince Harry revealed that they are having a baby girl during their sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey on Sunday.
“Grateful, having any child, any one or a two would have been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl . . . now we’ve got our family and we’ve got four of us,” Harry said.
The couple don’t plan to have any more kids after their baby girl is born: “Two is it.”
Last month, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced that their are expecting their second child together.
“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother,” a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan revealed. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child,” the representative added.
Markle and Harry welcomed their first child, Archie, on May 1, 2019. “It’s magic,” Meghan said when discussing her life as a new mom last year. “It’s pretty amazing,” the celebrity added. “I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
The couple, unfortunately, suffered a miscarriage last July. “It was a July morning that began as ordinarily as any other day: Make breakfast. Feed the dogs. Take vitamins. Find that missing sock. Pick up the rogue crayon that rolled under the table. Throw my hair in a ponytail before getting my son from his crib,” Markle shared in a piece written for the New York Times last November.
“After changing his diaper, I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right,” the celebrity mom continued. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”
Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, officially stepped down from their roles as senior royals last year and will welcome their daughter this summer.
