T.I. believes it essential that fathers spend quality time with their daughters. The rapper recently discussed his theory of “THOT prevention hours” with 21 Savage during a recent episode of his show, expediTIously.
“It’s also important for us as men to think about what makes the woman whole,” T.I. said when on the subject of building relationships. “Think about what makes them feel confident and purposeful,” the rapper added. “We be so intent on building, doing, and having it our way [that] we don’t even be thinking about what the next motha**** might experience, or how the next motha***** might feel. So it’s important for us to do that.”
T.I. admitted that he did not consider how his action affected the next person until he had a daughter. “I started to see what women go through when my daughter would come to me and be like, ‘Yeah, but, man that ain’t fair because you don’t do them like that.’ And I’m like, ‘Hmmm. Yeah, you’re right, I don’t,'” the celebrity father shared.

“But it’s different,” T.I. continued. “And it’s hard to explain that but that is a battle that women fight from birth; fighting to be treated equally as men.”
Constantly fighting for equality has its disadvantages. Such is the reason why T.I. shared his belief in fathers spending quality time with their daughters.
“You’ve got to put in them THOT prevention hours,” T.I. told 21 Savage when discussing the importance of fathers introducing their daughters to the concept of self-worth. “Keep your daughter off the pole,” the rapper added. “You spend time [with her] going to daddy-daughter dances, and you’re taking them on trips where it’s just you and her. Those are THOT prevention hours that you’re putting in. You’ve got to do that.”
