Damon Dash is a doting father. The producer recently shared pictures and video clips of himself on daddy duty.
One video clip showed Damon dancing with his newborn son, Dusko Dash, while at home. “Nightshift with @babydusko,” Damon told his social media fans. Dozens loved the father-son interaction on display.
“What a beautiful moment,” one social media follower said. “This just made my heart smile,” another Instagram fan noted. “So beautiful!”
Damon Dash and his fiancee, Raquel Horn, welcomed their son on November 14, 2020. Raquel shared her fertility struggles, which included a miscarriage at seven months, weeks after giving birth to Dusko.
“Damon and I were trying to get pregnant for close to seven years,” Horn revealed. “Once we decided to do IVF, a series of tests followed with one test, in particular, that made all the difference.”
Damon Dash and Raquel Horn experienced heart-wrenching tragedy when, at seven months pregnant, she miscarried their daughter last year. “This was the most traumatic experience I have ever had to go through,” Raquel admitted.
“Getting pregnant again was truly the final stage of my healing,” Horn revealed. “Plus, I believe [our daughter is] there guiding him and making sure he’s doing well,” Horn added. “It’s interesting to come out the other side to speak openly about my struggles and have the emotional space for other women to share with me.”
