Former AGT judge Gabrielle Union is enjoying her family these days. The celebrity mom recently shared pictures and video footage of her baby, Kaavia James, and stepson, Zion Wade, with Instagram fans.
One video clip of Kaavia hanging with her older brother was particularly cute. Gabrielle’s daughter was wearing a shirt that read, “We Can Be Heroes,” while standing in front of her brother who was holding up Kaavia’s arms. “Not All Heroes Wear Capes,” the footage’s caption read.
Another candid of Kaavia James showed the little one enjoying a bit of reading time with her parents. “I already know y’all were getting mad shade,” Lindsay Faulk wrote online after seeing the photo series of Kaavia with Gabrielle and Dwyane at storytime. “She was prob like, ‘Give me that book I’ll read it,'” Faulk wrote.
Gabrielle Union has been in the news for more reasons than one as of late. The celebrity mom recently spoke with Baller Alert about her parenting philosophy.
“Just because you grew up one way doesn’t mean you have to repeat everything you were taught,” Gabrielle shared with the media source. “It’s OK to acknowledge that perhaps there’s a better, more loving, more compassionate way of raising kids than in previous generations,” the celebrity mom continued.
“It’s OK to lead with love. It’s OK if your children aren’t exactly like you. It’s OK to nurture your child’s interest, even if those things don’t interest you. It’s Ok to evolve your thinking. It’s OK to not live in fear or judgment. There are no perfect parents or perfect children, so just breathe and do your best and lead with love and acceptance.”
