Oh, baby! The possibility of a C-section is enough to bring Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell to tears. The expectant star expressed her concerns about the procedure during a recent episode of her YouTube series, Almost There.
“I can’t even talk about this,” Shay told her boyfriend, Matte Babel, in the scene. “It’s actually gonna make me upset,” the actress said.
Shay Mitchell and Matte Babel shared the news of their expectancy back in June. The soon-to-be parents shared pictures from Shay’s maternity shoot and also took to YouTube to formally announce their family’s expansion. Shay and Matte also told fans to look forward to their new series, Almost There, which gives YouTube fans an inside look at how pregnancy life is treating Shay.
“I don’t want to have to do that,” Shay said of the possibility of a C-section in the upcoming episode of Almost There. Matte tried to comfort his girlfriend by assuring her that their baby girl would change positions and, thus, eliminate the need for a c-section.
“They’re gonna spin her today,” Babel said. “Placenta’s out of the way, you have lots of fluid and the baby’s sitting high. There’s no question she’s gonna turn today.” Shay responded to her boyfriend by saying, “I think Beyoncé had a C-section. That’s the only thing that’s making me feel better, to be honest.”
