Have you ever wanted to actually be a part of your favorite sitcom? Well, Disney Channel is going to make that wish come true with their newest innovative series-Just Roll With It.
Just Roll With It combines traditionally scripted family sitcom and improv comedy, all while allowing the audience to participate in the hilarious action that will ensue. The live-studio audience will get the opportunity to vote on the direction of key scenes throughout the show. And of course, the actors will be unaware of their impending fates.
This hilariously unpredictable new show will follow the ups and downs, with that special audience twist, of a newly blended family-the Bennett-Blatt’s. Daughter Blair is often a rebel without a cause. She is the polar opposite of her very regimented but loving mom Rachel, the decorated military veteran and station manager for BEATZ 101 in their hometown of Akron, Ohio. Son Owen, a model student, who thrives when following rules and detailed schedules, tries to manage his creative and charismatic father, Byron, an on-air radio personality on BEATZ 101.
The show will star One Day at a Time‘s Kaylin Hayman as Blair Bennett; The Lion King‘s Ramon Reed as Owen Blatt; Walk the Prank‘s Tobie Windham as Byron Blatt, and Upright Citizens Brigade & Disney’s Kirby Buckets’ Suzi Barrett as Rachel Bennett-Blatt.
The comedy series was created and executive produced by Adam Small and Trevor Moore (Disney’s “Walk the Prank”), with a production crew led by Skot Bright (Disney’s “Walk the Prank”). The series is produced by Kenwood TV Productions, Inc., and is filmed in Los Angeles, CA.
Mark your calendars and make sure to tune in for a first look, at what is sure to be comedy gold, on Friday, June 14th at 9:45 p.m. EDT/PDT. The official premiere will hit the airwaves on Wednesday, June 19th 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW.
