Riley Burruss and Ace Tucker were the supportive kids this past weekend. The son and daughter of Kandi Burruss stopped by their mom Kandi Burruss’ Bedroom Kandi Convention 2018.
“My babies stopped by to see me while I’m at the #BedroomKandiConvention2018,” Kandi captioned underneath a picture of her and the kids posing for a candid. “My loves,” the celebrity mom wrote. “Riley is rocking her #Queen jacket from @nickiminaj.”
This past weekend was all about inspiration as Kandi Burruss applauded those independent contractors who took the plunge of self-employment to partner with her Bedroom Kandi empire. “This past weekend some of my #BedroomKandi consultants said they were breaking the clock,” Kandi told her Instagram fans.
“Could you imagine what would happen if you took the same time and energy that you put into building someone else’s business and used it to build your own business? Everybody isn’t made for that type of hustle to be self-employed, but if that’s what you want for yourself go ahead and start making a plan to break the clock.”
Bedroom Kandi’s Boutique Consultant program has afforded many the opportunity to realize their dreams of self-employment and pursue entrepreneurship. Consultants start off on a good foot by selling products that are already in demand. Such foundation places them at an advantage over other entrepreneurs who start from scratch with research, development, and marketing of a fresh product that may or may not sell.
Kandi Burruss commented on her passion for building good business ventures during an interview with Forbes last year.” I want to build businesses that are high quality, socially conscious, and for the people,” she explained. “To get started is simple, but to execute is not,” Kandi admitted. “I’m extremely creative, but to be successful at the highest level, you need to partner with the right people who are very detailed.”
The celebrity mom further advised up-and-coming entrepreneurs to build a community that contributes to their efforts. “Surround yourself with people you can really build with, who are about taking your ideas and helping them come to life,” Kandi admonished.
“Maintaining longevity is a major part of success to me. So many people come into an industry quick, shoot to the top, then crash and burn. It’s been a long journey for me. To say that I’m still here, still growing, and people still care about what I’m doing — that is what I would call success. I’m driven by legacy. I want to be remembered. This about leaving something for my kids.”
