We can always count on Chrissy Teigen to keep it real. The celebrity mom took to social media this past weekend to talk about her post-pregnancy body and address the notion of all women being completely confident in their skin during the snapback.
“Instagram is crazy,” Chrissy tweeted. “I think it’s awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!) but I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol’ bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing.”
Teigen went on to share her journey of life after expectancy. “I don’t really call this ‘body confidence’ because I’m not quite there yet,” Chrissy said of her decision to share a picture of herself rocking a bikini while bearing stretch marks. “I’m still super insecure,” the celebrity mom added. “I’m just happy that I can make anyone else out there feel better about themselves!”
Chrissy Teigen has not withheld vital information about her pregnancy that some women in her position chose to keep to themselves. It was in 2016 that the celebrity mom got real about her postpartum depression, which led to Chrissy taking prescribed medication for the condition in addition to seeking therapy.

Chrissy addressed the notion of celebrity moms snapping back after giving birth during a recent interview with USA Today. “Anyone in the public eye, we have all the help we could ever need to be able to shed everything,” the model said. “We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have trainers, we have our own schedules, we have nannies. We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that’s normal, or like that’s realistic.”
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed their son, Miles Stephens, in May. Stay tuned for more celebrity family news!
