Sofia Wylie made history with her openly gay character Buffy on the hit Disney Channel show, Andi Mack. However, what may not be known about this up-and-coming young celebrity is that it was her dance moves not acting chops that originally propelled her into the limelight.
Before landing her breakout role, Wylie had already amassed an impressive resume that included dancing with Justin Bieber, at the Radio City Music Hall, on So You Think You Can Dance, and more. Now that Wylie is even more of a recognizable face among the #younghollywood elite, she is using her platform in hopes to help boost the careers of other dancers with her new YouTube dance series.
“My goal is to help dancers get that look that might help them book their next big break,” Wylie says in her interview with Dancespirit.com. “There are so many amazing dancers and sometimes all they need is a chance to be seen.”
