Siblings Jaden and Julian Newman have definitely made their mark on the world of basketball with their athletic prowess. With over 300 million YouTube views, in addition to having shattered several national records, this duo is definitely ready to take the next step up the ladder of success while at the same time giving back to help others.
While on tour in 2015 with NBA player Mike Miller, the talented duo came up with the idea to create a platform, Prodigy Brand, that would allow children and parents to share their own stories that inspire greatness in not only athletics, but academics, art, community service, and beyond.
On the website for their new venture, the Newman’s encourage people to celebrate their own uniqueness by asking visitors to submit their stories to be a part of the site’s blog, they showcase instructional videos in order to help the budding basketball player, and they also have a collection that highlights apparel & gear focused on celebrating the “prodigy” in us all.
As a part of the Prodigy Brand, the Newman’s have also taken on the challenge of speaking out against bullying. With first-hand knowledge of this world-wide epidemic as a result of their own personal successes. To help “give a voice to the underdog.” the siblings have created the #Prodigies Training Club, a specially designed program to help undersized basketball players reach their levels of desired success.
