Marquise Jackson, son of legendary rapper 50 Cent, is dropping new music, and it appears that the 20-year-old is taking shots at his dad.
“Growing up, my dad was my superhero,” Jackson told Rap-Up. “It was like having a father who was Superman, more or less. But then, as I got older, you start realizing things or you start seeing certain patterns and it takes an effect on your relationship with people. That’s what happened with me and my father.”

It is no secret that Jackson’s mother and the “Many Men” rapper had a bad relationship and that the bond between father and son is truly fractured. With lines like, “Lost my pops, he’s still alive,” spinning from the first official release from Jackson as an artist, we wonder if the ties that bind are irrevocably broken?
