Egypt Dean was one of many young stars to attend VH1’s ‘Dear Mama’ event earlier this week. The son of Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz was certainly dressed to impress as he wore a suit and took several pictures with star guests.
Will Smith was one celebrity who took full advantage of Egypt’s cuteness. The actor stood behind the youngster as he got into fighting stance for the camera. Egypt was all smiles while taking a candid with Smith. He even talked with the actor’s son, Jaden, who was also at the event. “What are these 2 talking about,” Swizz captioned underneath the picture of Egpyt and Jaden together.
‘Dear Mama’ is a special series that VH1 will air on Mother’s Day that seeks to honor moms for the many sacrifices they make. Alicia Keys, Willow, and Jaden Smith will be three of many to shed light on their moms during the episode. Keys even presents her mother, Terria Joseph, during the show.
Anthony Anderson of the hit series ‘Black-ish’ will serve as host of the special airing. “We are excited to shine the spotlight on the influential and inspiring women behind some of our favorite celebrities, their Moms,” says Amy Doyle of VH1. “Our ’Dear Mama’ special event gives our famous friends the stage to salute and thank their moms with their own tributes full of surprises, laughter, and love.”
