The future is bright for Kim Fields and Phaedra Parks. The celebrity moms celebrated Martin Luther King Day on Monday with their sons and Congresswoman Wilson.
Phaedra and Kim came together to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the Million Man March in Washington D.C. The mamas held their sons close while smiling for the camera at the event.
In addition to celebrating that monumental event, Kim and Phaedra attended the 23rd Annual MLK Scholarship Breakfast that was held at Jungle Island. Congresswoman Wilson hosted the event and spent a considerable amount of time with Phaedra, Kim and the kids. Kim and her husband, Christopher Morgan, stood by proudly as their sons interacted with the politician.
The actress and her husband have placed emphasis on support and exposure since becoming parents. “Chris and I have said and promised each other, and God, that we would expose the kids to everything great that life has to offer,” Kim said during one interview. “Whatever they gravitate towards, that’s what we support as best we can.”
Kim and Chris have two kids, Quincy and Sebastian, together. Quincy is the couple’s youngest son who celebrated his first birthday last month. Phaedra Parks also has two sons, Ayden and Dylan, with husband Apollo Nida. See more pictures from Kim and Phaedra’s holiday weekend below!
