Surprise! Sandra Bullock has adopted another child. The actress shares details about her new family addition exclusively with PEOPLE magazine.
According to the media source, Sandra has adopted a 3-year-old girl named Laila who is from Louisiana. “There’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” says Sandra. “I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time.”
Bullock also tells media that her son, Louis, inspired the process. “Louis spearheaded this whole journey,” explains the actress. “I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere.”
There has been much talk of Sandra possibly adopting another child in recent months. The celebrity even told media that she was open to the idea of more kids if her son wanted additional siblings. “If all of a sudden my house had eight kids in it, if it was OK with Louis and it felt like a good safe family, I would be fine with that. It would be because that is what my home is for. So it is up to him,” shared Bullock.
