Apryl Jones and Omari Grandberry, a.k.a. Omarion, are cherishing the moments with their son. The star couple took a pause for the cause of a family photo during a recent visit to an art gallery.
“Loves of my life,” shared Apryl along with the picture of her and Omarion with little Megaa. The little one was sitting on mom’s lap while holding his father’s hand in the candid. Apryl also shared a picture of her with her son while in the art gallery. “Megzz appreciates the art,” exclaimed Jones.
The youngster and his mom certainly have a reason to appreciate artistry as Omarion recently topped the Billboard charts for his new single ‘Post To Be.’ The singer’s collaboration with Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko has slowly but steadily gained momentum since its December 2014 debut.
“I think that naturally it takes people a little bit of time,” said Omarion of his song’s slow rise to fame during a recent interview. He further explained, “Music is so tangible and the radio has to catch up with that but it’s a bit more technical. I feel like just like any real street or club record that blows up first and then the radio plays it, that’s exactly what it was with Post to Be.'”
The artist also told media that Megaa has changed his creativity process. “I think that my son has just tripled my work now,” shared the star. “Before, as an artist and not having the responsibly of being a father, it’s easy to make selfish decisions and to weigh what should be done versus what shouldn’t be done. Like, should I wait for this instead of doing this? But truthfully, my son has made me selfish and now I truly understand that it’s not about me anymore. It’s about him.”
