Tia Mowry-Hardrict is one active mom who now focuses on fitness and love. There was a time, however, when the ‘Instant Mom’ star did not pay as much attention to her health.
“Sugar was like a drug I was addicted to,” says Tia in a recent interview with Women’s Running magazine. The actress goes on to share how being diagnosed with endometriosis, a disorder that threatened her ability to conceive and give birth to Cree, caused her to get up and active. “Running is my go to workout,” says the actress of her new style of healthy living. “If I’m traveling, I can just put on my shoes and go. It’s the easiest workout you can do.”
Tia encourages moms everywhere to make fitness a priority. “Work out two to three times a week in the beginning,” advises the star. “As you get stronger again, you can start working out four times a week, then maybe five. Set small goals, and only set new goals once you accomplish the small ones.”
