Phaedra Parks stepped back into the ballroom world this week — this time from the audience.
The reality star and her son Ayden Nida were in Atlanta to support her former Dancing with the Stars partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy as he performed during the show’s live tour stop.
After the night out, Parks took to Instagram to share photos and reflect on her own 2024 run on the series.
“Oh what a night ✨ #DWTS pushed me in ways I never expected, definitely one of the most challenging journeys but the love and friendships I gained are unmatched,” she wrote.
Looking back, Parks pointed to the role her family played throughout the competition, especially Ayden, who showed up behind the scenes while she filmed in Los Angeles.
“My son @ayden.nida was my biggest supporter every time he came to #LA, he left random sticky notes everywhere reminding me to keep dancing!” she wrote. “Finding those notes made me miss him and his brother even more.”
She also gave credit to Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson, calling them both “truly amazing.”
“@Valentin thank you for being the absolute best partner. You & @jennajohnson are truly amazing!” she added.
The post comes as anticipation builds for Dancing with the Stars Con, set for July in Palm Springs.
“I can’t wait to see everyone again in July at #DancingwiththeStarscon in Palm Springs!” Parks wrote.
Outside of the ballroom, Parks is also back on Bravo. She returns for Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and a newly released preview already has fans talking.
In a first look at Episode 2, Parks is seen riding with her 15-year-old son Ayden as he practices driving. In a confessional, she reflects on how quickly time has passed.
“Time really flies. Just the other day, I didn’t even know when I was due. Now I have a whole teenager that’s actually driving me around town,” she said.
The moment calls back to one of her most talked-about scenes from Season 3, when she memorably struggled to pin down her due date during her pregnancy with Ayden.
