Sara Marley is college bound!
The daughter of Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley has committed to the University of Miami, where she plans to study sociology.
The milestone comes months after her Senior Night in October 2025.
In an Instagram post, Rohan shared a video from Sara’s Senior Day, writing, “Let’s Go @whoissaramarley Senior Day has come ‘ wow … It’s been so beautiful watching you progress , college our next stop .. Daddy’s Girl. Sara said she going for the Hat-Trick. 3 sport varsity athlete all 4 years.”
Back in January, Rohan Marley also posted a tribute to his daughter and described the role she plays within their family.
“Sara truly is the family glue,” he wrote at the time, adding that she is “quietly holding everyone together with love, presence, and a sense of meaning that goes deeper than words.”
In another post, the son of the late Bob Marley shared a longer message praising her character and growth.
“BLESSED EARTH STRONG MY BEAUTIFUL BRILLIANT AMAZING PRINCESS,” he wrote. “A true leader of the new school, rising in real time. Words can’t fully express how proud we are of you and all that you continue to achieve. This is a powerful moment for us, and you are stepping boldly into your next level with grace, confidence, and purpose.”
He continued, “I love you beyond measure. Remain disciplined, stay focused, and trust the journey everything destined for you will meet you exactly when you arrive. Forever Daddy’s Girl.”
Sara responded in the comments at the time, writing, “Thank you Abba I LOVE YOU,” before adding in another reply, “Wow this made my day.”
Rohan Marley and Lauryn Hill share five children together: Zion, Selah, Joshua (also known as YG Marley), John, and Sara. Hill also has a son named, Micah, whose father has not been publicly confirmed.
