Wunmi Mosaku arrived at the 98th Academy Awards on March 15 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood alongside her husband, talent manager Tash Moseley.
For the evening, Mosaku wore a custom green, sparkling Louis Vuitton gown that highlighted her baby bump.
The look is one of several bold silhouettes the actress has embraced on the red carpet in recent appearances. Many of those outfits come together through collaboration with stylist Shameelah Hicks, who says color is always part of the conversation.
“She loves color,” Hicks said of Mosaku’s style choices. When the Oscars look came together, the goal was “making sure there’s color involved, and making sure it’s vibrant.”
The night carries added significance for Mosaku. She is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Sinners, where she plays Annie, a hoodoo priestess who serves as a steady presence throughout the 2025 film.
“This is the moment that I have worked 20 years towards,” Mosaku said in a Glamour interview while reflecting on the role. “This film just really made me stop focusing on what I had lost, and actually see what we have retained.”
When she is not attending premieres or award shows, Mosaku is busy taking her daughter to dance classes or to see her best friends.
“It gives me a different drive. I was driven before I had my daughter, but it gives me a new clarity. Now it’s not just a job – it’s time away from her. I’m very cautious about who I choose to spend my time with,” she shared in her interview.
Mosaku and Moseley have been together since 2018. The couple welcomed their first child in 2024 and are now preparing to welcome their second.
