Maralee Nichols is giving followers a rare look at life with her son, whom she shares with NBA star Tristan Thompson.
The model posted a carousel of images on Instagram of her four-year-old and simply captioned the post, “Weekend adventures.”
The images showed Maralee and Theo standing together near a flamingo exhibit at the zoo. Another photo captured him walking along the beach in a light blue sweater and tan pants, while a separate image showed him resting in bed with a mug.
Nichols has largely kept Theo out of the public eye. Her last Instagram post featuring him appeared nearly a year ago, in February 2024, when she shared photos of herself followed by images of her son picking fruit.
She captioned the post “Happy,” alongside a heart.
Theo is the only child Maralee shares with Tristan. The former Cleveland Cavaliers player confirmed in an Instagram Story in 2022 that “paternity test results reveal that [he] fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.”
“I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son,” he continued. “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.” Since then, he has not publicly shared updates about Theo or posted about him on social media, unlike his other children, including Tatum and True, whom he shares with Khloe Kardashian.
Although it is unclear as to how much involvement Tristan has in Theo’s life, Maralee unquestionably wants to let fans know that her son is definitely “thriving” in spite of it all.
