Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss came together over the weekend to celebrate their son Ace’s 10th birthday.
The former couple marked the milestone with a party on Sunday and later shared moments from the celebration on social media.
Burruss posted a series of messages honoring Ace’s big day on Tuesday, January 6th, writing, “Happy birthday to my Ace!!!! 10yrs old! I can’t believe it! Where did the time go. I love you so much! Let’s make this next year epic @acetucker!”

She also shared that she spent one on one time with her son, adding, “I had a little mommy & @acetucker time to celebrate him turning 10! The #strangerthings game at @sandboxvr! It was too much fun!”
The birthday celebration coincided with the New Year, and Burruss reflected on the moment in another post. “It’s not even 10pm & we already celebrated the new year & Im probably gonna be sleep by midnight! I pray that 2026 brings BIG BLESSINGS & true joy to everyone reading this! Positive vibes only. Looking forward to elevating & accomplishing everything I set out to do! Love yall! Happy New Year!!!!
Tucker also shared a family-focused message to ring in 2026, posting a photo with Burruss and their children and writing, “Happy New Year! Here’s my first SCHEME of 2026! Create and enjoy moments w/ family. The Tuckers.”
The joint celebration comes just weeks after Tucker requested primary custody of the children. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Tucker stated that the children are currently living with him in Georgia while Burruss works out of state. He claimed her work schedule would keep her away “for at least the next several months,” prompting his request.
In his November 26 filing, Tucker described Burruss as a “loving and capable parent” and said she should have “substantial time and meaningful access to the children.” He added that if the pair are unable to reach a custody agreement, he would seek primary physical custody, joint legal custody, and final decision making authority.
Burruss filed for divorce on November 21, formally ending her 11-year-marriage to Tucker.
Despite the legal proceedings, the two have continued to prioritize family moments. Just days before the custody documents became public, Burruss shared that they spent Thanksgiving together. “Before anyone assumes anything Todd came earlier to eat with us but he wasn’t there for the pic. He was not left out or anything like that,” she wrote.
