North West has officially joined Instagram.
Last week, North West shared her first post on the platform, posing in front of holiday lights while flashing two peace signs at the camera.
If the pose felt familiar, that’s because it was.
Fans quickly noticed that North appeared to be recreating one of her mother Kim Kardashian’s signature peace-sign poses, a look the SKIMS founder has used for years. The understated moment didn’t come with an announcement or explanation, but it still managed to feel instantly recognizable. The tween kept her caption short: “First post.”
North followed up with a second post the next day. In the image, she covered her face with her hands while flashes of bright blue hair peeked out from beneath a fluffy hat. The caption offered a tease of what may be coming next, featuring a purple arrow and the word “soon.”
According to North’s Instagram bio, the account is managed by her parents. The page gained hundreds of thousands of followers almost immediately, including Kardashian and her grandmother Kris Jenner. As of now, she isn’t following any accounts.
North is the oldest child of Kardashian and Kanye West, who also share Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. While this marks her first personal Instagram account, North is already familiar with social media. She frequently appears on the shared TikTok account KimandNorth, where she posts dance videos, skits, and family moments.
In recent months, North has also been experimenting with her style, sharing bold fashion looks across platforms. With her Instagram officially live, fans are now watching closely to see what she posts next.
