Coi Leray is celebrating a special mlestone for her daughter.
The rapper marked her daughter Miyoco turning six months old by sharing a new video on Sunday, Dec. 14. In the clip, Leray is seen spoon-feeding her baby as her song “TWINNEM” plays in the background.
Alongside the post, Leray reflected on how motherhood has changed her life.
“Happy 6 months to my baby girl. YOCO MAMI.” She added, “Forever changed my life. Everything I do is for you,” she wrote.
Fans and fellow artists flooded the comments with love. SZA wrote, “[Your] baby is SO CUUTTTEEE. My goodness, that chooonkkk. Bless y’all,” while Baby Tate called Miyoco a “cutie pieeeee.” Cardi B simply reacted, “Ommgggoddness.”
Miyoco is Coi’s first child with rapper Trippie Redd. The artist welcomed her daughter in June and later shared a raw labor-and-delivery vlog that captured the emotional experience of giving birth. In the video, Leray documented everything from bouncing on a pregnancy ball to ultimately being advised to have a C-section.
“It was not easy, but we did it,” she said of the birth. Reflecting on seeing her daughter for the first time, Coi added, “She’s so beautiful. Like, I’m obsessed with her. I love her so much. She’s so sweet, y’all.”
The delivery was emotional, but the “Players” rapper said her focus never wavered. “I was so scared ‘cause I just couldn’t imagine getting a C-section, but I’m so grateful for the doctors,” she shared. “They made me feel so comfortable, and it was very emotional, but all I cared about was her being healthy and coming out.”
Motherhood has also shifted the 28-year-old’s mindset creatively and personally. “I took a break from the music and just the artist mode for almost like a year and so many things happened within this year,” she explained. “And now I have this beautiful blessing.”
