Jessica White is opening up following a devastating loss.
The model and actress revealed that she and her fiancé, Nathan Wong, recently lost their baby boy, Makoa Aaru Preston Wong. She shared the news in an emotional Instagram post, reflecting on her pregnancy and the grief that followed.

“Makoa Aaru Preston Wong, My dearest boy, you arrived with the power of love and transformed everything about me. You gave Mommy the precious gift of feeling life within and inspired me to become the best version of myself. I fought relentlessly to keep you safe, but my womb couldn’t hold you.”
White went on to describe the depth of her loss and the meaning behind her son’s name.
“Since your departure, I’ve been engulfed in deep despair; you were my greatest gift from God, and I will always honor your beautiful presence. You lived up to your name, given by Papa-you were our peaceful warrior.”

In the same post, White expressed gratitude for her fiancé and her mother, thanking them for supporting her through the most difficult moments.
“”Nathan, I’m deeply grateful to have a husband as strong and steady as you. You and Mom cared for Makoa and me with such love and devotion, holding this family together when I couldn’t even form a coherent thought. My love for you has grown even deeper-I’II forever cherish having you as my best friend and protector. Together, we know what needs to be done next time. Makoa is watching over us and will forever remain our greatest teacher. He visits me in dreams, resting eternally in my heart as my firstborn.”
She ended her post with, “RIP baby boy”

The loss comes after years of fertility challenges. White has previously shared that she has experienced six miscarriages in her lifetime, including one she spoke about publicly in 2021 during her relationship with Nick Cannon.
“I had six miscarriages,” she said in a past interview with Pagesix. “No baby could actually survive in my womb in the first place. It is a very lonely and isolating experience.”

After seeking medical answers, White discovered she had a large uterine fibroid and a 10 centimeter cyst, both of which prevented her from carrying a pregnancy to term.
After addressing those challenges, she began an IVF journey in 2024 with hopes of starting a family.
White has received an outpouring of support following her announcement.
