Kim Kardashian may be a business mogul, but at home, she’s just “lame,” according to her kids. The SKIMS founder says their honesty keeps her grounded and, at times, very humble.
On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian opened up about how her four children, North, 12, Saint, 10, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6, have a way of snapping her right back to reality whenever she needs it most.
“Everything I do is for my kids, and they always ground me. Anytime I need a reality check, anytime I need to be humbled, I just go home,” Kim shared.
That honesty, she admitted, comes without a filter.
“One kid will be like, ‘You’re so lame. I can’t believe you don’t know what this word means,’” she said. “Or just like, ‘Ugh, when are you going to get a facelift like [Kris Jenner]?’ My kids will say crazy things, and I’m just like, ‘Huh. OK.’”
Kim has previously shared similar moments, including a 2023 Mother’s Day video from son Saint that perfectly supported what she’s saying about her children.
“I know I’m rude to you a lot, I say you’re nothing to me, but you mean the world to me…I love you more than anything,” he said in the video at the time.

That same year, North didn’t hesitate to critique Kim’s Met Gala look on The Kardashians, offering commentary that only a brutally honest preteen could deliver.
The facelift comment, meanwhile, nods to Kris Jenner’s own viral moment earlier this year after she revealed she’d undergone the cosmetic procedure.
“I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy,” Kris said. “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself.”

She added, “If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
Kim shares all four of her children with rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West.
