Lil Jon and his girlfriend, Jamila Sozahdah, had plenty to be thankful for this past Thanksgiving.
Over the holiday, the couple celebrated their daughter Nahara’s first birthday.
Taking to Instagram, they posted a message filled with gratitude, writing, “This Thanksgiving, our hearts are full and so is the love. Happy 1 year birthday to our baby girl, Nahara. A lifetime of blessings ahead. Alhamdulillah.”
Nahara is the first child for Lil Jon and Jamila, who began dating in 2023.
Jamila, a reality television personality known for appearing alongside her siblings on Secrets & Sisterhood: The Sozahdahs, kept her pregnancy private at first.
She later confirmed she was expecting in late 2024 without naming the father. By midyear, fans learned that Lil Jon was the dad, and the couple only recently confirmed that information.

Lil Jon is also a father to his adult son, Nathan “Slade” Smith, from his previous marriage to Nicole Smith. Jon and Nicole were married for two decades before deciding to part ways in early 2024. They share Slade, who was born in 1998 and has followed his father into the music world as a producer, engineer and artist.
Slade appears on the second season of Family Legacy, the Paramount+ docuseries that highlights well-known musicians through the eyes of their children. In his episode, he opens up about his bond with his father and the role Lil Jon played in shaping his journey.
“I get to show respect to my dad, how he helped me get to where I am and see some cool things that I’ve never seen before. I get to talk about myself, the things that I do and how I got myself there,” he said.
