Lil Scrappy and Shakira Hardy kicked off an early birthday celebration for their son Kyrie over the weekend.
The private gathering took place at Scrappy’s home and brought together close family and friends, including Scrappy’s oldest daughter, Emani, along with his children with Bambi.
On Instagram Stories, Shakira explained that this was only the beginning of the festivities. “Kyrie’s first birthday is Nov 23! Today is just the start to his celebration,” she shared. She also posted videos of the setup and added, “Aww! Kyrie’s dad did such a great job.”
The clips showed a section of the house decorated with balloons in shades of blue and white. On the table were two cakes, one featuring CoComelon characters and the other decorated with tiny astronauts and a number one. Personalized treat bags with Kyrie’s photo were also set out for guests along with other sweet treats.
Scrappy shared a video on his own Instagram, introducing each family member to his followers and giving a quick look inside the house party.
Fans responded with supportive comments such as, “I love all this co-parenting scrap.. Happy Birthday, handsome boy,” and “Family is what it’s all about!!! And everybody’s getting along! I love it!”
One viewer added, “Say what you want. @reallilscrappy is about his children and family.”
The rapper and television personality, born Darryl Kevin Richardson, welcomed his fifth child with Shakira, a former contestant on Pick A Side, in November 2024.
Scrappy is already a father of four from previous relationships. He shares daughter Emani Richardson, 19, with Erica Dixon. With his ex-wife, Adiz “Bambi” Benson, he is dad to Breland, 7, Xylo, 4, and Cali, 3.
Kyrie officially turns one on November 23, and we can’t wait to see what Scrappy and Shakira plan for his big day.
