ERIC BENÉT AND DAUGHTER LUNA PERFORM TOGETHER AT IAPW’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Eric Benét and his daughter Luna shared a sweet moment at the In The Perfect World Foundation’s 20th-anniversary celebration.

The pair took the stage for a touching rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror,” with Luna instantly stealing the spotlight as she sang alongside her dad.

“She’s beautiful! And she can sing like her daddy!” one person wrote on Instagram, while another added, “Luna, you did an outstanding job! You have such a beautiful tone to your voice! Okay dad, I see what y’all are doing here.”

The night held extra meaning for Benét’s wife, Manuela Testolini, who founded the Perfect World Foundation two decades ago.

“We had the most magical 20th Anniversary Celebration for @perfectworldfdn last night. I am still taking it all in! Having lost my voice this week, the run up to this big milestone event has been challenging to say the least!” she wrote on Instagram

“But, it was a lesson in surrendering,” she continued. And when I did, it allowed me to receive so much love and support. I truly felt that my village had my back last night. So grateful!”

In her post, Testolini thanked everyone who made the celebration possible, including honorees LaTanya and Samuel L. Jackson to honorary chairs Cookie and Magic Johnson.

She also praised the evening’s performers, including Kenny Lattimore, Judith Hill, and Eric Benét and Luna, for making the night unforgettable.

The proud mom also gave a special shout-out to her daughters, Lucia and Luna, for representing her and the foundation so beautifully.

“To my beautiful Lucia & Luna for supporting me through a challenging time and so beautifully representing me and IAPW,” she wrote.

The Perfect World Foundation (IAPW) continues its mission of empowering children and communities through education, the arts, and social change.
