Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders is proving that life as a grandfather comes with its own kind of playbook.
The Colorado Buffaloes coach recently had fans laughing after posting photos of himself and his grandson, Snow, sharing a flight together.
The snapshots show the pair mid-journey aboard a private jet, both decked out in coordinating camouflage looks as Sanders proudly holds the toddler on his lap.
“I’m the best GRANDPRIME in the game,” Sanders captioned the post. “@snowsandersbroadnax really test my patience but I’m praying! Lolol I’m so serious. Snow is now BANNED from Private Planes with his GrandHitta. He cranked that thang up like no other!”
The caption sparked a wave of amused reactions from followers. “He was just sleepy daddy and wanted to explore. He a baby,” Deiondra Sanders commented, while a fan teased, “Snow banned from the games and the plane in the same month—what he be doing?”
Born on August 9, 2024, Snow is the son of Sanders’ daughter Deiondra Sanders and R&B singer Jacquees. The toddler has already become part of the Buffaloes’ family, making appearances at games in Boulder and quickly winning hearts across social media.
Sanders has joked before about Snow’s lively personality. During an episode of Coach Prime’s Playbook with Romi Bean, he laughed about his grandson’s reputation for mischief. “Bucky (Deion Jr.) said he was banned,” Sanders said. “I hate to ban my only grandchild. But I don’t really believe in the superstitions and all like that. When I saw it, I thought it was humorous when Bucky goes, ‘Snow, you got to go, dog.’”
He continued, “Snow’s a little meanie though, man. He don’t have the respect that he should for old grandpa. And I say, ‘Now you know you’re going to need something. You know you going to need me.’”
