Serena Williams tried to pose for a few glamorous pictures, but her daughter had other plans.
In photos shared on Instagram Monday, the tennis star, 44, stuns in a red mini dress as her 13-month-old daughter, Adira, adorably steals the spotlight.
One photo shows Adira peeking out from behind her mom in a pink T-shirt, jeans, and tiny sneakers. Another captures the sweet moment the toddler wraps her arms around Williams’ leg while her mom laughs for the camera.
“Just a mom trying to take a picture but I keep getting photobombed,” Williams captioned the post.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the candid moment.
“They just love being with their mommy, and you do such a great job being that great mom. We love you, Serena,” one person wrote.
Another added, “One thing about littles is they do not careeee .” A third chimed in, “Those photo bombs are the cutest little humans.”
Serena shares Adira with her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The couple are also parents to daughter Olympia, 7, who often joins her mom on the tennis legend’s social media.
The post comes shortly after the 23-time Grand Slam champion revealed she’s been using a GLP-1 medication to help with post-baby weight loss.
“As an athlete and as someone that has done everything, I just couldn’t get my weight to where I needed to be at a healthy place, and believe me I don’t take shortcuts. I do everything but shortcuts,” Williams said in an interview on Today.
The star explained that after giving birth to Olympia in 2017, it became challenging to reach her desired weight despite working out and eating clean.
“I literally was playing a professional sport, and I could never go back to where I needed to be for my health, for my healthy weight, no matter what I did,” she said. “I would always lose a lot of weight, and then I would stay. No matter what I did, I couldn’t go lower than that one number.”
