DRAKE AND SOPHIE BRUSSAUX CELEBRATE SON ADONIS’ 8TH BIRTHDAY

Drake and Sophie Brussaux celebrated their son Adonis’ 8th birthday over the weekend in true cowboy style.

The “God’s Plan” rapper and the French artist threw a Western-themed bash complete with hay bales, cowhide rugs, and a giant “Wanted” sign featuring Adonis’ name and a $10 million “reward.”

In photos from the celebration, Adonis was all smiles as he played arcade games with friends and posed for pictures alongside his parents. One sweet moment captured the birthday boy hugging his dad during the festivities.

Drake and Brussaux, who welcomed Adonis on Oct. 11, 2017, have shared glimpses of their son’s life over the years.

However, the rapper was initially hesitant to introduce his son to the world.

On his 2018 double album, Scorpion, he famously rapped, “The kid is mine,” and “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world / I was hidin’ the world from my kid.”

He later opened up on Young Money Radio about wanting to enjoy normal experiences with his son.

“I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son,” Drake told rapper Lil Wayne. “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket ….”
