Cam Newton’s family just got a little bigger.
During an upcoming episode of The Tamron Hall Show airing Oct. 16, the former NFL star revealed that he and girlfriend Jasmin Brown have quietly welcomed their second child together — a baby boy.

“So we’re expecting your ninth baby?” Hall asked.
“Oh, he’s already here,” the athlete replied, drawing cheers from the audience.
Brown and Newton welcomed their first child, a daughter, in early 2024.
Brown first shared news of her second pregnancy this past Mother’s Day, posting a photo of herself showing off her baby bump alongside the caption celebrating “our growing tribe.”
“Feeling ALL the Love, kicks and elbows,” the comedian and actress captioned the post, adding, “Cheers to our growing tribe,” using the Happy Mother’s Day hashtag.
Before welcoming her son, Jasmin opened up about her fears of raising a boy.
In a series of Instagram Stories, she called it a “transparency moment,” writing that she would be “nervous” if God gave her a son because “I feel like I’d subconsciously raise him to be a man I can only dream of but never experienced. And that’s traumatic.”
She added that while friends and fans wished for her to have a boy, the idea filled her with “so much anxiety.”
“All in all, I’m just praying for a healthy full-term pregnancy/ labor, and delivery for me and my babe. Boy or girl idc. I’m just praying for healthy,” she wrote.
This marks Newton’s ninth child overall. He shares four children — Chosen, Camidas, Cashmere, and Sovereign-Dior — with ex Kia Proctor, and helps care for her older daughter, Shakira.
The athlete also has a son, Caesar, with photographer LaReina Shaw, and is a father figure to her older son, Jaden.
