Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children are standing by him as he awaits sentencing.
Court documents show that all six of his kids, except his toddler daughter Love Sean Combs, wrote letters to Judge Arun Subramanian, asking for compassion as their father faces prison time.
In their letters, they described Diddy as a supportive father who has always been present in their lives.
Quincy Brown
Quincy, 34, is the son of singer Al B! Sure and the late Kim Porter, explained that Diddy became the only father figure in his life after adopting him as a child.
“I was around 4 years old when my Pops came into my life, and he has been the only father figure in my life for as long as I can remember,” he wrote.
“He stepped in and stepped up as a father, at an important time in my life, during my most formative years, in a way that no one else could have. He poured his love into me in a way that I couldn’t quite recognize as a child, a love that I’d only received from women in my life. It was unconditional, safe and unwavering. It still is.”
He added that after his mother Kim Porter died in 2018, Diddy became “the only person we could turn to. He became our rock.”
Justin Combs
Justin, 31, said life has felt “incomplete” without his dad.
“Since his absence, life has felt incomplete. Each morning I wake up praying it was just a nightmare,” he wrote. “My father has been there for me every day of my life — not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually and in the deepest sense of what it means to be a father.”
He asked the judge “to see my father the way I do — not through headlines, but through the eyes of a son who loves and needs him.”
Christian “King” Combs
Christian, 27, pleaded, “I’m asking you to please let my father out of jail! He does not deserve to be there and I know this from the bottom of my heart!!”
He described the past year as filled with “lies and discrimination and dehumanization and loneliness and separation and extreme stress on the family.”
“This is my dad and he is the best father in the whole world. He has never ever taught me anything but to treat people with the most respect possible and to never be entitled and to always work for what I want and to treat people with love and kindness most importantly!”
Chance Combs
Chance,19, Diddy’s eldest daughter, also urged for his release.
“My dad has always been our foundation,” she wrote. “He’s not only a hardworking businessman, but he’s also the one who makes sure we’re cared for and supported. He takes care of my grandmother, his elderly mother, and he’s always been there for us, no matter what.”
She added, “I understand the seriousness of what’s happening, but I also know my father. He just needs the opportunity to come home, be with his family and prepare for what’s ahead and handle his legal matters. Please take this letter as my honest and heartfelt request to have him return home to us. It would be a blessing to have him home for the holidays.”
D’Lila and Jessie Combs
In a joint letter, the 18-year-old twins wrote that after their mother’s death, their father became their anchor — but his arrest left them shattered.
“On that day it felt like we had lost everything,” they said. “Ever since then we have been forced to navigate our lives… without parents.”
They described their dad as “caring, loving, generous, passionate and dedicated” and said, “Words can’t explain how much we miss him and we hope that you deeply consider returning him home to us.”
Combs, who was convicted earlier this year on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, has been in custody since September 2024. His legal team is requesting a 14-month sentence, which could allow for release by the end of 2025.
